The last few weeks have been crazy busy but we've found a house and will be moving when the furniture arrives early next month. Now everything has calmed down a little I'm able to get back in to the swing of things and tackle the massive long list of things that need to get done! For now I'm just trying to be productive but it's tricky when you're perched on a coffee table in the kitchen and your laptop is melting :D

Anywho, for now here's what I've been playing with. It's father and son terraforming a new planet they've found and sculpting cities on the moon on the horizon.

So I'm back in Sydney! It's kind of surreal and super hot but oh god the coffee is so worth it :D In other news this is a wip from today! I kind of want to add some big battle ship in the middle somewhere but I kind of like the elegance of the little ships flying off and those nebula things on the left are a bit wonky...we shall see!

So I finally took the plunge and bought a cintiq! It's all swooshy and smooth! And it has a dead pixel woop! I've been trying to get in to figures more so I drew a spikey dude with a giant bird skull. It just seemed like the right thing to do. The second is my CHOW entry over on CA. It's a giant war dragon and she's destroying the world bwahaha!

The first is what I got up to last night. It's a funky body armour design and I kind of like where it's heading. The other three are some ideas that have taken a bit longer for me to be happy with them. They still need some work.

Here's a card I've been working on for the last few weeks for Untold. This creature's called a Renewer and it's pretty much the embodiment of spring. Everywhere they walk flowers spring up in their footsteps, they melt the snow around them and the exhale spores. It was an awesome brief and I really like how it turned out :D

It's been a busy couple of days. I've been doing a lot of 15 minute 3CH (random subject generator) concepts. I rarely spend under 20 mins on them though. The last one is an entry to the environment of the week contest over on conceptart.org. It's a crashed spaceship which has been buried under the ice for some time. Thanks for checking it out.
